Creata's Lace Celebrity RockStar

In the 80's when glamour and glitter, fashion and fame were what it was all about, Creata International saw a need to make it available to those of us who couldn't afford the price of Hasbro's Jem dolls. Enter Lace and her friends.

I don't really remember seeing any of these dolls during that period. I discovered them a few years ago when someone mistakingly dressed a Jem doll in an outfit that belongs to these dolls instead. In fact, it was the outfit on this very screen!

Once I figured out that these dolls existed, I tried to find out as much as I could about them. On a doll forum, there was one taunting dead link to a website all about Creata dolls. For a while, that was all I was able to find about them.

Then some marvellous seller put a whole bunch of Lace dolls up for bid on Ebay. *joy* Now I've finally amassed enough stuff to put together a website about these dolls! There's still alot of holes in my knowledge base so if you have anything to offer as information, I'd love to hear from you! In the meantime, enjoy :)
