Funkin A!

AY.

This is how last show went. Song after song of new releases and old favorites.

Then.

Shane and Jeremy showed up and brought some badass funk to play. S that I've never heard of before.

They're part of a band called the Howard Johnson Experience, and hopefully, in the near future they'll venture to the station and play some live jams on air.

Ciabatta Breakfast Sandwich

YO. It's me and Jimmy James. Just finished up the show. If you tuned in early, you were lucky, because we got an extra hour in today, taking over for the show before.
Don't wanna sound full of it or anything, but YEAH, it was a good show.

While in the station, we each had a delicious Ciabatta breakfast sandwich from Jack in the Box. James says there was "too much bread" on the sandwich, I say there was "a substantial amount."

If things fall into the correct places next week, we're going to have a band coming in and playing a sweet set. I've seen'em countless times and they always impress. In fact, I caught the last song of their set at a houseparty just last Friday. Super loud and super good. Someday I'll learn more adjectives.

Enough of that though, here's what we played today.

Check this crazy

We didn't do the show last week, instead our good friend Shapan stepped up and subbed in. Props to that. Perhaps you liked what he played? In that case you can check his show on How Goes? on 88.9 KUCI, Monday afternoons from 3-5PM.

I don't have a playlist from what Shapan played, mainly cause I DGAF on matters like that.
SHHIET.

Aside from that, last Sunday night I saw Romeo Delta at the Universal Bar and Grill. They were simply amazing. They straight up killed the crowd. All around great experience and I'll keep it posted next time they have something coming up.

Nevertheless, a whole bunch of good music was played last show, giving my ears the same feeling my mouth gets when I take the first bite of a delicious filet with horseradish crust. Bon Appetite!
