Smell ya' later

James Nicasio will be taking a hold from Dogs Barking indefinitely,
Due to his poor typing skills,
Lack of motivation in acquiring hours,
And unsatisfactory BtotheF trivia,
This was the next logical step for him.
Thank you for your support,
And please look for him in his next adventures with How Goes?, haha na

Brendan and Matt will without a doubt hold down the fort for the next "shoes"
Nicasio OUT

Here's the Scoop

Brendan Wiles of Dogs Barking here, I've got a little bit of news for ya'll -

New year, new schedule, new voices.
This is what's up:

1. New time slot - Saturday afternoons 4PM-6PM, on 88.9 KUCI FM.

2. James will be departing from the show for this quarter.
            a. But who am I kidding, he will most likely show up every now and then, probably more often than I expect.

3. Matt will be filling his shoes. Figuratively, they are some large shoes to fill; James was my absolute best homie and I'll be bummed about the shoes I have to do without him. Literally, Matt is in luck, because James is a Philippino man of small stature, his shoe size is somewhere around a 7 or 8. I could be wrong. Much love.
Matt's a fuckin G and will add a new distinct element to the show that you will love. I guarantee it.

4. Seriously check out some of this stuff, the guy's name is Matt Furie and he's like Sesame Street meets Gremlins in children's book form. I love it!

ps - I said love four times in this post.

Happy Christmas

Everyone, it is true, we, Dogs Barking, played an ALL CHRISTMAS SHOW.
Christmas cheer was all around.
The spirits were high since I had just returned from Mexico.

Quickly on Mexico, my lady and I cruised it, zip-lined through the jungle,
bargained with sketch Amigos,
and drank Sherrly's Bright Eyes(not to be confused with the pop-sensation)

Back to the future,
Brendan and I were fully equipped with one of the raddest adults I have every met,
Mr. Wiles(Brendan's father).
It can surely be said, he was a main contribution to the show's success.
Along with the father were two tall brothers(not meaning black homies)
I had never felt so short and vulnerable,
but there were no swirleys or stealing of lunch money.
In the end, it was certainly a great show to end the year.
Flux.

Almost a week late...

This time I'll apologize, I waited a while to post up the playlist and write a lil somethin somethin on here. Life has been busy. Got my Xmas shopping out of the way, fixed my car up, wrecked my car up, fixed it up again. Maybe I should get a bike. Or horse-drawn carriage.

But anyways- last week I did the show without James again, homie was gone on a cruise in Mexico. He said it was a lot old people, the food was alright and that he couldn't get an even tan. But his spirits were still high. Since he wasn't there, and I simply can't be alone for any extended amount of time, I had the lovely Brigitte come in to keep James's seat warm. Some little known facts about Brigitte - her name is spelled the French way and she'll exclaim "Freak!" if you startle her.

I felt like last week's playlist may have been a bit uninspired, but c'mon dog, cut me some slack. I had just finished up finals and felt like taking it easy. However I did play Romeo Delta, which is a bomb ass blues rock band. They play in the LA area quite often and just put a new album titled Lucifer's Blues. Peep somma dat S.

Felix Sonnyboy Wilson

Today was chill. The show was chill all around. A fan would turn on intermittently and make the entire studio freezing. Such is life.

Last night was insane. I met the dopest couple ever that had an amazing story of how they met. The dude had the most insane collection of vintage clothing and records that he sold on eBay. And the girl made a bunch of cool crafts and baked delicious pies. Which was cool and all. Then she tells me about her brother. They say he travels all over, playing the banjo and singing songs. He used to live in an octagon shaped sauna that was incredibly small and just had a bed, table, typewriter, and all his instruments. There wasn't even electricity in there. Before that he taught preschool, and later lived on a farm in Ireland. He's been going around Ireland busking on the streets to get by.

His name, is Felix Sonnyboy Wilson.
And he's fuckin awesome. Type that name into YouTube and you'll find a handful of videos people have taken of him on the street doin this thang.

P.S., this is how part of the alphabet would look like if "q" and "r" were ommited

Today my friends, Matty Tae killed it.
Handlin' the tracks, killin' the overits, and lettin' everyone know what's up.
Though with some faux rays, he redeemed his name with some awesome tunes.
From the RX Bandits, to Recover, he revamped some good times for both he and I.
But we cannot forget the Beast, Brendan.
Without the wrestling tee, he still dominated the competitors with his no-luck needing looks.

Check out the crazy playlist the B-homie put up.
I'd like to note our banger, our ender, our Herbie Hancock shout out.
MAN THAT SONG KILLS.

One thing I've learned from Hank Moody, hookers are still nice conversators. . . did I learn that from Mr. Caufield? Whatever, FLUX IT!

Matty Tae in the Cut

Today was sick. Like actually sick. Like I puked my guts out when I woke up this morning. I still made it to the show though. Had some Jamba Juice and then I was all good.

Matt S came in for a guest appearance and as such, picked a bunch of awesome music to be played. Then he waxed poetic about his childhood days growing up in the Valley and we laughed at him.

I honestly don't feel like writing a lot right now, so I'm gonna update some of this S later and make it snazzy.

PEACE
