week six = gimme yr best block

hey folks.
I've been gettin some real good requests via the phone / instant messenger / comments on here, but sometimes I don't have the
right music with me when I'm at the station, on the air and all that.
sooooooo! I was thinkin it might be cool to get some requests WAY AHEAD OF TIME, so I can be prepared. THEN, you will get your block played on the air. it'll be like yr personal recommendations for the week. personally, I think it's gonna be cool.
that being said, please please please comment here, and gimme a 4 song block to play. it would definitely be bonus points if there is some kind of theme to it. so keep that in mind. also, if you would like it to be dedicated to someone, or some THING... that's all good too. just remember, the songs can't be mainstream... indie-ish only pleaaaaase. and no bad words. the fcc don't like 'em during the day.
so bring it on.
thank you.
Labels: block, hit me with your best shot, kuci, pat benetar

Hey, I know you might not be into this stuff yourself... yet, but How about a Wolf Parade-related block. I was thinking something like this:
Modern World- Wolf Parade
California Dreamer- Wolf Parade
What We Had- Handsome Furs
Mending of the Gown- Sunset Rubdown
The Ballad of Scarlet Town- Johnny and the Moon
good stuff, and that's without even getting to the Frog Eyes and Swan Lake... or even The Arcade Fire.
Also, a Unicorns/Islands/Human Highway block would be pretty amazing.
The Format-Dead End
Steel Train-Black Eye
Piebald-Havent Tried It
Ruebens Accomplice-Underneath the Golden Grain
This is for the awesome tour that you also took a part of in the summer of 07. The best tour ever!
