A graduate of Appalachian State University, University of New Mexico, Westbrook University and the Open International University, Ellen Tart-Jensen has studied and worked in the field of Iridology for 25 years and Nutrition and Natural Healing Methods for 30 years. She is certified to teach Certification classes by the International Iridology Practitioners Association (IIPA). Having taught numerous classes with Dr. Bernard Jensen, she is certified to teach Iridology and sign certificates by him. For two years, Ellen studied natural healing methods in a health clinic in Switzerland. For five years she wrote articles, edited books and analyzed iris slides with Dr. Bernard Jensen. She currently has a busy practice, Lifestyle Counseling Services, where she uses a digital camera to photograph eyes. She reviews the pictures with her clients on the computer screen and prints them out upon request. She also receives iris photographs by e-mail from around the world to be analyzed. 


Not only does Ellen author courses, but is an instructor and Dean of The School of Iridology for Westbrook University and teaches for the University of Natural Medicine, and is an adjunct faculty advisor for Clayton College. In addition, she served as President of the International Iridology Practitioners Association (IIPA) for seven years and is currently Vice-President of Bernard Jensen International. She teaches classes in Iridology, Nutrition, and Herbology throughout the world.   She is the author of
Health Is Your Birthright, Through the Eyes of the Masters, A History of Iridology, Bodyworks, and Very Ginger.
