Quadraplex is a fifteen minute, four-track EP follow up to DJ Food’s previous release Kaleidoscope. Making music out of glass seems a bit far fetched, but if anyone can do it, it’s the DJ Food duo-and that they did. The first track makes use of a bunch of sound effects created using glass, but doesn’t have any discernable beat or melody. The remaining three tracks pick up on speed and quality using the same sorts of sound effects and dropping in tribal beats among other things. If anything, listeners should change roles to become viewers and scope the uber cool packaging this EP is housed in.
