"Tales of High Fever"
by: John

Without knowing anything about this record, I jumped right in. Much to my surprise, it was great. I don't really know how to accurately describe the genre. It's sort of latin-influenced jazz. But at the same time there are a lot of euro-dance electronic elements. On top of all of this, it features female Brazilian vocals. The most striking part about this album is how fun it is. Now, I'm not one for dancing but I was tapping my foot throught the whole record. In fact, at one point (during "Peregrino" I think), I spontaneously stood up. For no reason. It was like my body told me to get up and dance. Weird. Seriously though, this record is really good. I recommend it to fans of latin music, jazz, and dance. It definitely deserves repeat listens.
