My my! An album teeming with DJs doing remixes of a collection of classic lounge music-what a lovely idea. For the most part, ‘Electro Lounge’ emits a space-pop vibe, although a few of the tracks prove to be a little trying when electronica and lounge don’t seem to mix. A must-check-out is Plaid’s remix of Dickie Harrell’s ‘Drivin’ Around the Block.’ Also, a personal favorite is the opening track-A remix of Elliott Fisher’s ‘Dr. No’s Fantasy’ by Mark Sinclair.
