"A lot of cool beats," would be the phrase de jour when describing Money Mark?s solo project "Change is Coming". After listening to this album, it becomes apparent that jazz and funk are the main themes, but Money Mark manages to diversify the sound by throwing in a handful of tracks featuring distorted guitars and a lot of his funky keyboard playing. The last two tracks 'Pepe Y Irene' and 'Rain (NYC)' undoubtedly have a lounge vibe, while 'Information Contraband' is full on funk with distorted guitar sounds. The opening track 'Chocochip' is deliciously spacey. Not bad...not bad at all.
