Aphex Twin (Richard James) has come out with a prolific 30-track double album christened “DrukQs”. Although not necessarily the best James has produced, this pack of tracks is definitely diverse in its sounds. Pieces like “Jynweythek Ylow” and “Avril 14th” have listeners in full-on relaxation mode with melodic but slow (and short) piano tunes. Others such as “Taking Control” sound more like other old Aphex Twin tracks. Ambient, acid or break beats, this album has it all-just take your pick.
