Does it seems the Kings of Convenience are taking the convenient way out by putting out a record in which all the tracks are remixes of songs from their first release? It may seem like it, but give it a listen, and you will soon forgive them. Luckily, in all this remixing with all these artists, the mellowness of KOC was not lost. Perhaps most mentioned is the Ladytron rendition of “Little Kids”-a softened and dark electro-pop remix. Also, Evil Tordivel’s remake if “Leaning Against the Wall” does sound a bit like it belongs on a video game soundtrack, but other than that, the album as a whole receives a thumbs up from this listener.
