Great pop is always a pleasant find, and that’s just what this Yuji Oniki has accomplished - great pop. Just because Oniki has friends from the likes of Beulah and Pavement (who contributed to his first album “Orange”), should one expect his music to be just as tasty? Yes! Tvi is full of tracks seemingly fit for mainstream radio, but also unique enough to have underground pop fans go insane. With tracks like “Transport” and “Grapefruit,” listeners will fall into a gentle musical abyss. Go Yuji, Go!
