Alpha & Omega have before been written as leaders of the UK’s dub scene. Decide for yourself as you listen to “Dub Philosophy”. This record includes previously unreleased tracks and re-mixes full of electronic machinations such as zipping bleeps and curious echoes. Most of the songs are slow and heavy with strong base. In trying to describe the overall sense of this album in a short phrase, I would say that this album has a low-pressure, relaxed tempo.
