To start the program:
sign directory n
        directory = the directory path where the stories will be saved
        n = the comm port number where the sign is attached

for example:
sign c:\sign 2
        The stories are stored in c:\sign and the sign is attached to 
        comm port 2.

The following commands are available from the command line:

Story storage:  (stories are saved with .DED extentions)
        dir             Display directory of stories. Scroll through 
                        the files listed and hit enter to load the 
                        highlighted story or the Delete key to delete 
                        the story.

        lo <filename>   Load the specified file name.

        sa <filename>   Save as the specified file name.

        del <filename>  Delete the specified file name.

        new             Clear the current story from the screen.

        exit            Exit the system.

Story transmission:
        se <slot number>  Send the currently displayed story to the slot
                          number specified.

        re <slot number>  Remove the story currently stored in the specified
                          slot.

        cl                Remove all stories from all the slots. The last 
                          displayed story will be displayed even though it
                          is no longer stored in a slot.

        co <serial number>  Cold starts the board. This resets the board to
                            a maintenance menu.
