Low level format with CLIST in UltraStor 14FB

Hi,

I just got a SCSI HD and UltraStor 14FB. At first time, I use BIOS utility
to do "Format". It tells me there is a bad block. Then I do "Scan",
after finishing 93% work, it tell me there is a bad block and reassigned
it. Finally, I do "CFormat", it didn't tell me there is a bad block. I am not
sure what is "reassignment" for. But when I do "Scan" again, bad blocks
disappear.

So, does that bad block still exist but hidden by card or HD, or it is just
temporary error? I need to make a decision if return that HD.
