Does it report 7 drives on the POST too? 'Cause that
sounds like ID conflict to me. Make sure that the hard
drive and the interface aren't sharing the same ID number.
Usually default for the card is 7. Check the jumpers, or if
it's a 14FB run the setup.
If not, check for proper termination. I'm guessing that it's
only these two you have hooked up, so make sure that the card
and the drive have their terminators intact.
