Tobacco - Ultima II Massage - Ghostly
Gnarly stuff right here. Crazy electronics meet a DIY indie aesthetic to create some otherworldly sounds. The vibe oscillates between chill seaside beats infused with cyberpunk overtones to straight up robot overlords setting cities ablaze.

The Shilohs - s/t - Light Organ
Sweet summer sounds permeate this very digestible indie-rock album. I dig the vocals and the clarity of the songwriting and instrumentation. No gimmicks, just good music.

Beach Party - Made In Los Angeles - s/r
Califo0o0o0o0o0rnia!! Like a stripped down mash up of all things good, guitar-y, and distorted from the 60s and 70s, this album rocks. Check it!

Rodrigo Amarante - Cavalo - Easy Sound
Oh man, the way this album starts out is just awesome. And then the rest of it too. Rodrigo Amarante used to be part of Devendra Banhart's live band so you know the dude has chops. Luckily he also has heaps of talent and taste to boot.

Naive Thieves - Vamonos - Cave And Canary Goods
These local (Riverside) dudes put together one hell of a debut album with Vamonos. Pretty fantastic instrumentations and a smooth vocal delivery create a sweet 50s/60s pop sound that's both crisp and warm.
